House Guest Hospitality Basket

I wanted to throw together a basket of handy supplies for our overnight and out of town house guests. I didn’t buy anything in particular for this basket. A lot of the supplies come from free samples from makeup purchases, extras of travel supplies, etc.

Yama was eager to help with the photography. I can’t imagine why it takes me so long to do flat lays.

These are the larger hospitality items that didn’t fit into the smaller organization tins in this basket. I included:

  • Tissues
  • Wisp no-rinse toothbrushes
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Foot lotion
  • Wet wipes
  • Surgical masks
  • Makeup wipes
  • Pepto bismol
  • Sunscreen

These are bath/shower basics, mostly sourced from hotel amenities we brought home and haven’t used:

  • Soap
  • Body wash
  • Massage bar
  • Facial bar
  • More soap
  • Double sided exfoliating loofah / terry cloth (I love these for travel, and they come in larger packs so I tend to have extras on hand)

More bath/shower basics, with shampoo and conditioner of various types

More miscallenous supplies that someone may want to use while they’re visiting or traveling. This picture includes:

  • Toothpaste
  • Water flavor packets
  • Emery board
  • Straw
  • Liquid IV electrolyte packet
  • Gum
  • Tide pen
  • Razor
  • Sleep mask
  • Mouthwaste
  • Pen
  • Lint roller
  • Tooth brushes

A whole lot of samples and packets of various bath, body, and beauty items. Most of these are sourced as free samples from my cosmetic and skincare orders at Sephora and Ulta. I included:

  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Heat protecterant
  • Hair masks
  • Styling treatment
  • Makeup wipes
  • Moisturizer
  • Lotion
  • Sun screen
  • Paper shower wipes
  • Acne dots
  • Face masks
  • Cleansers

This section includes body lotions, makeup remover, and period/incontinence supplies.

Things that I want to include in a guest hospitality basket but haven’t had the chance to quite yet:

  • Local travel booklets/guides
  • Sign with wi-fi information
  • Chargers/USB cables
  • Magazines
  • Snacks
  • Water bottles or a water decanter
  • Pre-packed toiletry bags
  • Towels/hand towels
